How to (easily) connect to Wi-Fi in three (simple) steps
- Whether you’re using a tablet, smartphone or laptop, choose the _WIFI_LYRIA network
- Launch your favourite internet browser: you should be redirected to the TGV Lyria Wi-Fi login page. If it doesn’t connect automatically, don’t panic! Enter the URL: wifi.tgv-lyria.com.
- Click on the button ‘Connect’
And that’s it!
💡 Tip: To use the internet on board, you’ll need to open your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, etc.), rather than mobile apps such as Google.
Then, you’re ready to surf the internet at 320 km/h!

How does it actually work?
SNCF has equipped each TGV Lyria train with antennae which enable the 4G network to be picked up from providers. But did you know that at high speed, the connection to the signal lasts less than one minute?
This is why Internet access points have been installed every 3 km on all the main high-speed lines. This means there are more than 1,000 antennae to ensure the connection.
To put it simply, imagine this
Imagine several hundred people in your front room, most of them connected to your wireless box. This would be a large number, and gives you an idea of the way it works on the train.
The more people who are connected, the lower the speed. To ensure that all passengers benefit from the free Wi-Fi with a good flow rate, we offer some advice.
If you want to watch the latest episode of your favourite series, organise a seamless cinema session or view the (numerous) photos from your last family trip, make sure you download these items before you set off.
Did you know? The content on our Wi-Fi portal is embedded. That means it works when you’re offline. So you can watch your favourite films and shows whenever you like.
